Ioannis Kapos, President of the Hellenic Badminton Federation and Member of the COMEBA Board of Directors, has been elected as a member of the Ethics Commission of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG).

The ICMG Ethics Commission acts as an independent body responsible for safeguarding integrity, transparency and ethical conduct within the Mediterranean Games movement.

Its role includes ensuring compliance with the ICMG Code of Ethics, monitoring activities, reviewing potential ethical violations and providing objective recommendations to the ICMG Executive Committee.

The Commission also plays an important preventive role by promoting good governance, fair play and the principles of the Olympic Charter across National Olympic Committees, sports organisations and other stakeholders involved in the Mediterranean Games.

This appointment represents an important recognition for Ioannis Kapos and further strengthens the presence of badminton within the institutional structures of the Mediterranean sports movement.
